This dynamic leading man, who received critical recognition for his role as the protagonist in Kelvin Tong’s award-winning debut feature film, Eating Air, has subsequently been involved in edgy Singapore theatrical productions like Asian Boys Volume 1 and the stage adaption of Mee Pok Man.

Due to his versatility, Benjamin has served as the host of several popular TV programmes, including Frontline, Money No Problem, Healed And Be Healed, Anything Goes, and Durian King. He also appeared in the 2009 Asian Television Award nominee for Best Comedy Program, Ch 5’s Calefare, in which he portrays the title character, Hamsome.

Benjamin has hosted numerous road shows, corporate dinner & dance events, and television programmes like Ch U’s Mission Possible in addition to his acting career. Additionally, he has appeared in TV mobile, Nokia, and Singtel commercials. He was recently seen hosting Cuisine Going Bananas on Ch U, a food variety show!
Benjamin is a talented guitarist with a deep voice who has performed for Z-Pop by Lianhe Zaobao in venues like Wala Wala, Balaclava, China One, HomeClub, and The Padang. He co-founded the local band Pink Punk with director Kelvin Tong and served as its drummer before becoming the frontman for the band The Sputniks.

His love of interacting with people has inspired him to seek a rewarding career in real estate, where he delights in helping others find their dream homes and creating fulfilling careers for his colleagues.

A bilingual actor, he has appeared in Channel 8 shows. Yours Fatefully, It Takes Two, Clif 2, Recruit Diaries, the Channel 5 documentary Journey with Me, the xinMSN drama Of Love and Hidden Charms, and the Toggle Originals drama True Lies are among the shows that are now airing. One of Benjamin’s most recent television productions is the Michael Chiang play adaptation Mixed Signals, as well as the Mandarin drama Loving You on Mediacorp Channel 8. Benjamin will make numerous Toggle original series appearances in 2020, including Maisonette and Classmates.

Zombiepura took seven years to make, from its conceptualization in 2011 to its international premiere in October 2019 at the Scream Asia Film Festival. Benjamin co-produced and acted in it. In addition to a successful run in Singapore’s local theatres, the film also screened on 85 screens in the Philippines and was made available on DVD in Japan.
