Florence won the 1997 Singapore MediaCorp Studios Star Search Competition, earning the title Star Search Winner & Miss Photogenic. She is well-known for her parts in dramas like Immortal Love and The Return of the Condor Heroes, both of which were released in 1998. (1997).

She most recently appeared in Zero To Hero, a supernatural thriller on Singaporean television, and made a brief cameo in Joys Of Life (2012). After getting married to a Taiwanese businessman, she left the industry in 2006, and she returned to acting in China in 2011.

Florence has received numerous honours over the years. In 2005, Florence was voted the 100 Most Sexy Woman by FHM Singapore Magazine. Additionally, she received a nomination for Asia’s Top 50 Most Popular Artist in 2004 from the Singapore newspaper “Zaobao.” She was nominated for the Star Award Singapore’s Top 10 Most Popular Female Artiste twice (in 2000 and 2003), as well as Best Supporting Actress three times in a row (1999, 2000, 2001). Florence has been recognised outside of Singapore; she was nominated twice for Most Popular Artist in Malaysia by Star Award Singapore (2000, 2001).

Numerous television series, including Legendary Swordsman (2000), A Child’s Hope (2003), Heavenly Sword and Dragon Sabre (2003), The Dragon Heroes (2005), The Last Princess (2008), Tian Tian Happy (2013), and Tian Tian Happy II II sitcoms, including My Genie (2001) and My Genie (II) II, have featured her as a performer (2001).

In variety programmes like Happy Whole Day (2001), New Era in Food (2003), Big Sale in Weekend (2003), and Happy in Australia (2004), Florence is also a prominent participant (2006).

She has so far released three albums: “Chinese Goat New Year Song” CD (2001), “Celebration Mediacorp Music First Album” CD (2001), and “Wok Of Life” CD (1999). (2003).

To the joy of many devoted viewers, Florence most recently appeared on Star Search 2019 and contributed to the local variety show Happy Go Lucky. We can’t wait to see her in upcoming regional productions now that she is living in Singapore!
