Jacelyn received a chance at fame and an acting career when she won the female category of the 4th bi-annual Star Search Competition held by MediaCorp in 1995, while she was a first-year student at the National University of Singapore’s Arts Faculty.

She got her first Star Award in 1998 for her performance as He Xian Gu in the television series “Legends of the Eight Immortals.” Since then, she has taken on a number of difficult roles, including Dong Fang Bu Bai, a highly skilled swordsman with a feminine flare, in the film “Legendary Swordman.”

Actress and well-known celebrity Jacelyn Tay has received Singapore’s Top 10 Most Popular Female Artiste Award eight times at Star Awards.

Jacelyn began her career as a health coach in 2006 and then founded Body Inc. Integrated Medicine, which combines Western herbal medicine, Traditional Chinese medicine, osteopathic medicine, and nutrition. She is a firm believer in holistic health. Body Inc. equips people with the knowledge to identify the underlying causes of their health, appearance, and weight problems and uses nutritional therapy and detoxification programmes to help them rebalance their bodies

In 2004, Jacelyn wrote “Feel Good Look Good with Jacelyn,” which made her one of the very few Singaporean authors to reach the position of No. 1 Non-Fiction Book Author on The Straits Times Life! Best Seller List. Her second book, “Makeup for the Asian Women,” was likewise well-received and is currently in demand for reprints. For the past ten years, she has been a sought-after speaker for seminars and presentations. Her specialties include entrepreneurship, motivational subjects, and health and beauty. NTUC, SingTel, M1, MOH, Ricoh, and others are among the businesses that Jacelyn has worked with. Most recently, the Health Promotion Board hired her to deliver a series of health lectures on food and nutrition to working adults at Mapletree Business Center and other business centres.

Jacelyn is a well-known figure for social media engagements where she works with companies she really believes in, including LG, Manulife, and Blackmores. She is known for frequently speaking her mind on social media.
